I'm visiting from CA. Was surprised to find a southern Cafe with a CA vibe. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Although it's not very big, they were able to include a comfortable lounge (sitting area) where people can enjoy having conversations with family/friends. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend this place.

If you are looking for an amazing new place to try then you have to make your way to Cafe Convo in Hamlet, NC. This Black Owned Cafe was the perfect end to my morning walk with the pup. This place stimulated all of my senses… When I first walked in the aroma of the coffee beans took me away to a place of serenity. The place is sooo clean and light. Honestly , it’s almost as if you could eat off of the white marble tiled floors. The sound of the jazz music playing in the background gave me that city vibe that I miss so much. Customer service was A1. I had to leave the pup outside but as I was waiting on my food I went outside to be with her. They brought my items to me so I didn’t have to leave my pups side. Now , the Most important part is the taste. The veggie grits have such a fresh, comforting taste. Definitely a great portion and very filling. The Pineapple Green Tea was something I never had before and as you can see, the full cup didn’t make it home. Y’all go check out Cafe Convo! I promise you won’t regret it.

Today was my first but definitely not my last time there. I had the cafe convo salad with grilled shrimp that was cooked to perfection. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Shout to Cafe Convo on Main Street in Hamlet. I went in and said, “Help”, this is what I would get if at (no need to name another brand), what would be similar that you offer”? She said let me take care of that for you and went to ask for help(points for asking for help). Another lady(I’m assuming the owner, I should have asked ) came out gave me a few options and insight on what makes the coffees different(wow, I had no idea) so I said, “ that sounds great add caramel please I also got four of the lemon blueberry cookies(I’m sharing)don’t judge me. A gentleman came out from the back and greeted me, I mean these folks been raised up right, it’s genuine, you can feel the love. I said all that to say Cafe Convo is Beautiful, every detail makes you want to stay, grab a book and self care. The folks are welcoming and patient and a ray of light that is missing in the service industry these days. The coffee had me shouting Yassss at first sip, and those cookies, well I do believe they have been kissed by God himself Folks treat yourself and or someone else and go bless those that are blessing. From one Business owner on Main Street to another, I say “ Welcome”, May God continue to kiss with favor on your establishment.

Very impressed! Stopped off for a break on the way back from the beach and didn’t disappoint. The shrimp topped burger with the spicy sauce was great and came with a nice salad as well as the chicken grain bowl, chicken sandwich and pepperoni grilled cheese..also had a cinnamon roll and coffee which were also very good. Will keep this place in mind on the way through again.

First time visiting the town of Hamlet and I’m so happy I stopped here. The place is so clean and aesthetically pleasing. The person that served us was very welcoming and attentive I was able to get some work done and enjoyed a quick raspberry refresher. Would definitely come back to try again
